O'Neal's Antiques is also able to offer fine older furniture often at a fraction of the cost of new furniture. The O'Neal's Antiques Delmarva Showroom in Laurel, Delaware carries a variety of Carnival Glassware and Depression Era Glassware.

Antique carnival glass is highly collectible these days. One reason is because it dates all the way back to the early 1900s. Carnival glass wasn't called carnival glass until the 1950's. When it was first introduced in 1907, it was called Iridescent Ware. The name described the finish, which was a shimmering iridescent finish that changed color as the light hit it a certain way. The finish was made from a metallic spray applied in layers. The process was called doping, which is why you may also hear this type of glass referred to as dope glass.

Antique Depression glass is glassware made during the time of the Great Depression up until the 1940s. This glass was mass produced by companies like Fenton, Federal, Hocking and Duncan. It was affordable and attractive, yet not of the best quality. However it was popular because it came in a wide variety of patterns, shapes, sizes and colors. Often, Depression glass was given away as a gift with purchase to entice customers to spend a certain dollar amount. Today this type of glass is sought after by collectors everywhere.
